The AHDTR1A05 supports 8-bit digitally encoded AHD video plus 1 channel of bi-directional RS-485 data. 1-Channel AHD Video and Data Over Singlemode Fiber
The AHDTR1A05 combines 1-channel AHD video transmission with a bi-directional data channel over a single singlemode fiber optic link. A transmitter is installed at the camera end of the connection and a receiver is installed at the monitoring end.
The VersiVision platform is designed for adjustment-free installation and operation and can be deployed as a standalone unit or in the FVC18 18-slot rack-mount chassis.
Digitally Encoded AHD Video
The AHDTR1A05 supports 8-bit digitally encoded AHD video and is directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems. The optimized optical modules support 1280H/25F, 1280H/30F, 1280H/50F, and 1280H/60F video formats.
Bi-Directional Data Transmission
In addition to video, the AHDTR1A05 supports one bi-directional RS-485 data channel at data rates up to 300 Kbps. RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces are available as options.
30 km Singlemode Fiber Transmission
The AHDTR1A05 uses singlemode fiber with 1310/1550nm optical wavelengths and ST simplex connectivity. The VersiVision model table specifies a maximum transmission distance of 30 km for the AHD 1-channel singlemode video-plus-data transmitter and receiver.
