What's Included in a 2-Channel Video Installation Kit?

The standard 2-channel installation kits include:

• 2-channel analog video transmitter
• 2-channel analog video receiver
• Two 5VDC 2A power supplies
• 100 meters of multimode or single-mode fiber optic cable

The transmitter is installed at the camera location and the receiver is installed at the monitoring or recording location.

The included 100 meters of fiber provides a convenient cable length for initial installation, testing, or shorter-distance applications. The fiber converters themselves support much longer transmission distances, depending on the model and fiber type. For extended-distance installations, customers can use their own fiber optic cable or existing fiber infrastructure.

How a 2-Channel Video to Fiber Converter Works

A 2-channel video-to-fiber system allows two analog CCTV camera signals to share a single fiber optic connection.

CCTV Camera 1 + CCTV Camera 2 → 2-Channel Video Transmitter → Fiber Optic Cable → 2-Channel Video Receiver → Monitoring / Recording Equipment

The transmitter accepts two analog video inputs through BNC connectors and converts the signals into optical data for transmission over a single fiber optic cable.
