Multimode SFP modules provide a cost-effective solution for shorter-distance Fast Ethernet connections. VERSITRON offers both 850nm and 1310nm multimode options, with each supporting transmission distances of up to 2 kilometers.

100Base Singlemode SFP Modules

For longer fiber links, the FE10SM 100Base SFP uses 1310nm singlemode optics to support transmission distances of up to 10 kilometers. This makes it suitable for connecting network equipment across buildings, campuses, industrial facilities, and other locations where a longer fiber run is required.

Choose FE2MM for 1310nm Multimode Fiber

The FE2MM provides another 2-kilometer multimode option while operating at 1310nm. This module is useful when the existing multimode fiber infrastructure calls for a 1310nm optical solution.

Choose FE10SM for Longer Singlemode Links

The FE10SM is designed for singlemode fiber and provides up to 10 kilometers of 100 Mbps connectivity at 1310nm. It is the appropriate choice of the three modules when the application requires a longer fiber transmission distance.
