The VERSITRON AHDTR1A03 is a 1-channel AHD video installation kit designed to transmit digitally encoded AHD video and bi-directional data over multimode fiber optic cable. The complete kit includes a transmitter, receiver, power supplies, and 100 meters of multimode fiber, providing a convenient fiber optic solution for extending AHD camera signals beyond the limitations of copper cabling.

The AHDTR1A03 supports 8-bit digitally encoded AHD video plus 1 channel of bi-directional RS-485 data. The multimode version supports transmission distances up to 2 km and is compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems. RS-232 and RS-422 data interfaces are also available as options.

1-Channel AHD Video and Data Over Multimode Fiber

The AHDTR1A03 combines AHD video transmission with a bi-directional data channel over a single multimode fiber optic link. A transmitter is installed at the camera end of the connection and a receiver is installed at the monitoring end.

The VersiVision platform is designed for adjustment-free installation and supports standalone or rack-mount deployment using the FVC18 18-slot chassis.

Digitally Encoded AHD Video

The AHDTR1A03 supports 8-bit digitally encoded AHD video and is directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems. The optimized optical modules support 1280H/25F, 1280H/30F, 1280H/50F, and 1280H/60F video formats.

Bi-Directional Data Transmission

In addition to video, the AHDTR1A03 supports one bi-directional data channel using RS-485 at data rates up to 300 Kbps. The datasheet also identifies RS-232 and RS-422 as optional interfaces.

2 km Multimode Fiber Transmission

The AHDTR1A03 uses multimode fiber with 850/1310nm optical wavelengths and ST simplex connectivity. The VersiVision model table specifies a maximum transmission distance of 2 km for the AHD 1-channel multimode video-plus-data transmitter and receiver.
