Extend POTS Telephone Service Over Multimode Fiber

The PK8M POTS-to-fiber converter installation kit provides a practical solution for extending analog telephone communications over multimode fiber. It allows POTS telephone service to be transported between locations without relying on long copper telephone runs.

The PK8M is specified for multimode duplex fiber transmission up to 2 km, using the appropriate length of fiber optic cable.

FXO and FXS POTS Connectivity

The PK8M uses an FXO/FXS configuration for connecting POTS telephone equipment across the fiber link.
