Extend POTS Telephone Service Over Singlemode Fiber

The PK4S POTS-to-fiber converter installation kit provides a practical way to extend analog telephone communications over singlemode fiber. By converting the POTS connection to fiber for transmission between locations, the system allows telephone service to be extended well beyond the normal limitations of copper cabling.

The PK4S uses singlemode duplex fiber and supports a distance capability of up to 20 km.

FXO and FXS POTS Connectivity

The PK4S installation kit is designed around the FXO/FXS architecture used for POTS fiber extension.
