Extend POTS Telephone Service Over Multimode Fiber

The PK4M-RM POTS-to-fiber converter installation kit provides a practical solution for extending analog telephone communications over multimode fiber. The system converts the POTS connection for transmission over fiber between locations, allowing telephone service to be extended beyond the limitations of copper cabling.

The PK4M-RM uses multimode duplex fiber with a distance capability of up to 2 km when the appropriate length of fiber optic cable is used.

FXO and FXS POTS Connectivity

The PK4M-RM uses an FXO/FXS configuration for connecting POTS telephone equipment across the fiber link.
