The PK4DS-RM installation kit is a rack-mountable solution and includes 4-channel FXO and FXS devices for extending a 2-wire analog (POTS) telephone line over fiber. Power supplies and 100 meters of Singlemode fiber cable are also provided. Supports RS-485/RS-422 full duplex data up to 64Kbps.
The PK4DS-RM kit provides a turnkey solution for extending four Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) analog phone lines over Singlemode fiber. The FXO unit is installed at the PBX (exchange) side of the link and the FXS unit is installed at the telephone (subscriber) side of the link. These Fiber Optic Teledata Modems are also used to extend RS-485 or RS-422 data up to 64Kbps.
