Complete 16-Channel Singlemode Fiber Optic Video Installation Kit

The FVMTRH005A provides the components needed to establish a high-density 16-channel analog video link over singlemode fiber. The installation kit includes a 16-channel video transmitter, receiver, power supplies, and 100 meters of singlemode fiber cable.

A typical installation places the transmitter at the camera or video-source location and the receiver at the monitoring location. A single fiber optic cable connects the two units, allowing 16 separate video signals to be transmitted between locations.

16 Video Channels Over One Fiber

The VersiVision FVMTRH005A supports 16 channels of 8-bit digitally encoded, broadcast-quality video over one singlemode optical fiber.

The transmitter and receiver are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems, making the system suitable for a wide range of analog CCTV equipment.

8-Bit Uncompressed Digital Video

Long-Distance Singlemode Fiber Transmission

The FVMTRH005A uses 1310 nm singlemode optics and supports transmission distances up to 30 km. The corresponding FVTMH005A transmitter and FVRMH005A receiver are both specified for 30 km singlemode operation.

This extended transmission distance makes the FVMTRH005A particularly useful for surveillance and video monitoring systems where cameras and monitoring equipment are separated by significant distances.
