The FDVTR1005A provides the primary components needed to establish a one-channel analog video link over singlemode fiber. The installation kit includes a video transmitter, video receiver, power supplies, and 100 meters of singlemode fiber cable, simplifying installation when a complete fiber optic video package is required.

A typical installation places the transmitter at the camera or video source and the receiver at the remote monitoring location. The two units are connected by a single fiber optic cable to provide the video link.

8-Bit Digital Video Over Singlemode Fiber

The VersiVision FDVT1005A transmitter and FDVR1005A receiver provide 1-channel of 8-bit digitally encoded video over one singlemode optical fiber. The system is designed for broadcast-quality video transmission and is directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems.

The singlemode configuration operates at 1310 nm and supports a maximum transmission distance of 30 km.

Standard BNC and ST Fiber Connections

The FDVTR1005A uses standard BNC video connections and ST optical connectors. The system transmits video over a single fiber.

For applications using SC fiber connectors, ST-SC adapters are available.

LED Indicators for Easy System Monitoring

LED indicators provide an immediate indication of system operating status. The transmitter and receiver each provide power and video indicators.

The video indicator shows when video is present on the BNC input, while the power indicator confirms that the correct power has been applied.

Singlemode Fiber Transmission Up to 30 km

The FDVTR1005A uses the FDVT1005A transmitter and FDVR1005A receiver, both specified for singlemode fiber transmission up to 30 km at 1310 nm.
