The VERSITRON 10GB80SM is a 10Gb Ethernet SFP module designed for high-speed, long-distance fiber optic networking. Operating at 1550nm over singlemode fiber, it supports transmission distances of up to 80 kilometers.

Long-Distance 10Gb Fiber Connectivity

The 10GB80SM combines 10Gbps Ethernet performance with an 80km singlemode fiber transmission distance, making it the longest-distance 10Gb SFP module currently listed in the VERSITRON product datasheet.

Hot-Pluggable SFP Design

The 10GB80SM uses an industry-standard Small Form Pluggable (SFP) form factor and supports hot-plugging for convenient installation and replacement. VERSITRON's SFP modules use LC fiber connectors, a single 3.3V power supply, and a TTL signal-detect indicator.

The module also uses a Class 1 laser compliant with EN 60825-1.
