Managed Fast Ethernet Connectivity with Fiber Uplink

The S70850M provides managed Ethernet connectivity for networks using 10/100Mbps devices while adding a dedicated fiber-optic interface for network extension.

Seven RJ-45 ports support 10/100Mbps Ethernet connections, while the 100Mbps SFP slot provides fiber connectivity using a compatible optical module. This allows the switch to connect local copper-based Ethernet equipment to a fiber network segment or remote network location.

The switch uses store-and-forward switching and provides a 6Gbps switching capacity with a packet forwarding rate of 148,800 packets per second per port.

Seven 10/100Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet Ports

The seven copper ports support 10/100Mbps Ethernet connectivity and use RJ-45 connectors.
