The VERSITRON F282xD series RS-530 serial data to fiber converter enables seamless fiber optic transmission for data, clock, and control signals. It supports both synchronous and asynchronous data transfer with adjustable data rates up to 5 Mbps in terminal timing. This serial-to-fiber converter is designed for efficient operation in both full-duplex and simplex transmission modes.

Its circuit card design makes it ideal for installation on data terminals or communication equipment. The RS-530 fiber optic modem fully supports handshaking control signals and adheres to the following standards:

The VERSITRON F282xD series RS-530 to fiber media converter offers a secure and reliable solution for transmitting serial data over fiber optics. With transparent data transfer and minimal signal distortion, this serial data modem ensures consistent and high-performance communication.
Designed for long-distance transmission, it supports data transfer up to 2 km using 1310nm multi-mode fiber and 20 km with 1310nm single-mode fiber, making it an ideal choice for diverse and mission-critical applications.
Equipped with a DB25 connector for the copper interface and an LC connector for the fiber optic interface, this rs-530 to fiber converter provides broad compatibility with various devices. It is also designed for rack-mount installation in a high-density 19" standard chassis.
Designed for reliability in harsh industrial environments, this converter operates within a temperature range of 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F), making it suitable for demanding conditions.
