Extend POTS Telephone Service Over Singlemode Fiber

The PK4S-RM POTS-to-fiber converter installation kit provides a practical solution for extending analog telephone communications over singlemode fiber. The system converts the POTS connection for transmission over fiber between locations, allowing telephone service to be extended beyond the limitations of copper cabling.

The PK4S-RM uses singlemode duplex fiber with a distance capability of up to 20 km.

FXO and FXS POTS Connectivity

The PK4S-RM uses an FXO/FXS configuration for connecting POTS telephone equipment across the fiber link.
