Reliable Gigabit Copper-to-Fiber Conversion

The MF7260 Gigabit Industrial Media Converter provides an efficient way to connect copper-based Ethernet equipment to a Gigabit fiber optic network. Its RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, while the 1000Mbps SFP slot provides flexibility for selecting the appropriate fiber interface.

The converter uses non-blocking store-and-forward switching with a 4Gbps switching capacity, a 4K MAC address table, and support for jumbo frames up to 9.6K bytes. These features provide reliable packet processing for demanding network applications.

The copper Ethernet port supports auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, simplifying installation and allowing the converter to automatically adapt to connected Ethernet equipment. Full- and half-duplex operation is supported along with IEEE 802.3x pause-frame flow control and back-pressure.

Flexible SFP Fiber Connectivity

The MF7260 uses a 1000Mbps SFP fiber slot, allowing the fiber interface to be selected based on the requirements of the network. VERSITRON offers compatible SFP modules for multimode, single-mode, and single-fiber applications.
