The VERSITRON M62xxD series RS-530 to fiber media converter is a secure and reliable solution for transmitting serial data over fiber optics.

With transparent data transfer and minimal signal distortion, the RS-530 to fiber converter ensures consistent performance. Its ability to transmit data over distances of up to 30 km using fiber optic cables makes it an ideal choice for diverse and mission-critical communication applications.

The RS 530 over fiber converter features a DB25 connector for the digital interface and an LC connector for the fiber optic interface, ensuring broad compatibility with various devices. This converter can be mounted in a high-density 19" standard rack-mount chassis.

For stand-alone use, the RS 530 media converter comes with a wall transformer that powers the unit through a one-pin connector. It supports both AC and DC power, with a DC input range of +5 to +15 VDC, providing flexibility for diverse operational setups.

Versitron M62xxD series is available in two configurations to accommodate different system requirements:

• M621xD units: DCE devices designed to connect with DTE devices.
• M622xD units: DTE devices for connection with DCE devices.

Designed for reliability in harsh industrial environments, this converter operates within a temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, making it suitable for demanding conditions.
