4-Channel AHD Video and Data Over Multimode Fiber
The AHDTR4A03 provides fiber optic transmission for four AHD video channels and one channel of bi-directional data. It is designed to connect camera-side equipment to a remote monitoring location using a single fiber optic cable.
The VersiVision platform uses a transmitter at the camera end and a receiver at the monitoring end. Its plug-and-play design provides adjustment-free installation and operation, while LED indicators provide system operating status monitoring. The units can also be installed standalone or in the FVC18 18-slot chassis.
Digitally Encoded AHD Video
The AHDTR4A03 supports 4 channels of 8-bit digitally encoded AHD video and is directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems. The optimized optical modules support 1280H/25F, 1280H/30F, 1280H/50F, and 1280H/60F video formats.
Bi-Directional RS-485 Data
In addition to video transmission, the AHDTR4A03 supports 1 channel of bi-directional RS-485 data at data rates up to 300 Kbps. RS-232 or RS-422 operation is available as an option. This allows compatible control or data signals to be transmitted alongside the AHD video over the fiber link.
Multimode Fiber Transmission
The AHDTR4A03 uses multimode fiber with an 850/1310nm wavelength. The VersiVision model table specifies a maximum transmission distance of 1 km for the 4-channel AHD video + bi-directional data multimode configuration.
