2-Channel HD-CVI Video Over Singlemode Fiber
The HDCVITR2005 provides two channels of HD-CVI video transmission over a single singlemode optical fiber. A typical installation places the transmitter at the camera end of the link and the receiver at the monitoring location, allowing HD-CVI video signals to be extended far beyond the normal limitations of copper cabling.
According to the VERSITRON product model table, the HDCVIT2005 transmitter and HDCVIR2005 receiver are 2-channel singlemode HD-CVI units with a maximum transmission distance of 30 km.
8-Bit Digitally Encoded HD-CVI Video
The HDCVITR2005 supports 8-bit digitally encoded HD-CVI video and is directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems. The VersiVision HD platform supports optimized optical modules compatible with 1280H/25F, 1280H/30F, 1280H/50F, and 1280H/60F.
30 km Singlemode Fiber Transmission
For applications requiring extended transmission distances, the HDCVITR2005 uses singlemode fiber and supports distances of up to 30 km. The datasheet identifies singlemode operation within the 1310/1550nm wavelength configuration and one optical fiber for the link.
Plug-and-Play Fiber Optic Video Installation
The VersiVision HD-CVI platform uses a plug-and-play design for adjustment-free installation and operation. No electrical or optical adjustments are required, while LED indicators provide immediate system operating-status information.
This simplifies deployment when extending HD-CVI cameras between remote locations and centralized monitoring equipment.
ST Fiber Optic Connections
The HDCVITR2005 uses ST optical connectors for the fiber connection and BNC video connections. ST-SC adapters are available for installations using SC fiber connectors.
