The SG71090A is designed for networks where a fixed-port switch may not provide the right combination of copper and fiber connectivity.
Instead of being limited to a predetermined port configuration, the SG71090A uses three modular slots that accept interchangeable 8-port modules. This allows network designers to configure the switch around their specific connectivity requirements.
A fully populated chassis can provide up to 24 network ports, depending on the modules selected.
The available modules include Gigabit copper, 100Base multimode and single-mode fiber, 100/1000Base SFP, and mixed copper/fiber configurations.

Reliable switch ends networking struggles
Networking between different devices can be a pain, especially if you're dealing with a lot of devices or wifi. I have spent far too much time fighting to get my devices to talk to one another, only to find myself going through the same process a week later to fix the problem. Since getting this switch to hardwire a connection between devices, I have a consistent, high-speed connection I don't have to worry about.
