VERSITRON’s MF7260P industrial fiber media converter comes with one 10/100/1000Base-T gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port and 1000Base-SX/LX optical SFP port. The RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Mbps-full/half-duplex and auto-negotiation features. This Fiber media converter with POE can operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. It is designed to comply with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at for PoE and PoE+.
PoE fiber media converter comes with a non-blocking store-and-forward switching architecture with a switching capacity of 4gbps. It also has redundant dual power supply inputs of 48/52 VDC. The Auto-MDI/MDIX feature prevents data packet loss. It operates over multimode or single-mode fiber over a variety of link budgets and does not require in-field adjustment.
In blended networks, this POE SFP media converter can help extend the geographical transmission distance by up to 100km with optional SFP modules. This device comes with interchangeable SFP for fiber type, distance, and connector, which can be ordered separately. Additionally, it comes with 4KV Ethernet Surge Protection for harsh environments.
