FEATURES:
The Model M4202 Security System Transceivers operates at 850nm and is compatible with all standard multimode fiber optic cable sizes. The transceivers will operate with a 20dB link margin with 6.5/125µM multimode fiber optic cable. The product can also utilize 50/125 or 100/140µM cable with link margins of 16 and 28dB, respectively. The Model M4202 Security System Transceiver transmits and receives data using a proprietary VERSITRON encoding scheme.
A security system keypad or controller unit is wired to the transceiver using the terminal strip connections as listed below. The compact size of the Model M4202, smaller than a cigarette pack, permits flexible placement of the unit near any keypad or controller.
