If you need a fiber optic 8 channel video converter with
2 channels of bi-directional data that delivers a sharper image with better color quantification and faster, more efficient codecs, the new
VersiVision 10-bit digital 8B0xT units may be just what you are
looking for.
This broadcast quality, enhanced resolution 8-channel video and two channels of bi-directional data travel over one multimode or singlemode optical fiber. The units are also directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems while supporting RS-485, RS-422, and RS-232 data protocols. These units are typically used in applications where the camera can transmit AND receive data. In addition, the 8B0xT is designed for applications that require control of PTZ cameras.
Plug and Play design ensures adjustment free installation and operation, while LED indicators allow you to instantly monitor operating status.

A typical installation utilizes a transmitter unit at the camera end of the link connected via a single fiber optic cable to a receiver unit at the monitoring end of the link. The FVRM8B0xT is available for either standalone or rackmount installation with the FVC14 Chassis.
Other new fiber 10-bit digital CCTV video products include a 4 channel video converter, a 4 channel video mux with bi-directional data, and an 8 channel video mux.
