This product will allow you to get 100Base speeds over your 10Base network!
Once the 10Base signal is converted to fiber, the signal will then travel 100 Mbps when using the "Double-Duty" 10/100 media converter.
These converters are standalone devices, but they can also be installed in a MCC-14R rackmount chassis with redundant power. In addition, the M727xSA boasts options of long-haul optics with distance capability up to 90km with redundant power.
