The FVMTRH003A provides the components needed to establish a high-density 16-channel analog video link over multimode fiber. The installation kit includes a 16-channel video transmitter, receiver, power supplies, and 100 meters of multimode fiber cable.

A typical installation places the transmitter at the camera or video-source location and the receiver at the monitoring location. A single fiber optic cable connects the two units, allowing 16 separate video signals to be transmitted between locations.

16 Video Channels Over One Fiber

The VersiVision FVMTRH003A supports 16 channels of 8-bit digitally encoded, broadcast-quality video over one multimode optical fiber.

The transmitter and receiver are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems, providing compatibility with a wide range of analog CCTV equipment.

8-Bit Uncompressed Digital Video

The technical specifications provide a video bandwidth of 5 Hz–8 MHz, 8-bit resolution, differential gain below ±1%, differential phase below ±1°, tilt below 1%, and a 60 dB weighted signal-to-noise ratio.

Multimode Fiber Transmission up to 1 km

The FVMTRH003A uses 1310 nm multimode optics and supports transmission distances up to 1 km. The corresponding FVTMH003A transmitter and FVRMH003A receiver are both specified for 1 km multimode operation.
