VERSITRON’s 4 port unmanaged switch has two slots for 10/100/1000M Ethernet ports with RJ45 connectors and two slots for 1G fiber-optic SFP modules that ensure seamless and high-speed data transmission across the network. This switch is especially suitable for applications where linear bus topology is used.
The 2 slots for 1G SFP fiber modules (sold separately) readily support a "drop-and-add" configuration at each node along the fiber optic cable bus. The use of fiber optic cable significantly helps improve overall network speed, bandwidth, reliability, and immunity to EMI/RFI.
Our 4 port fiber switch is an integral part of several expanding networks. This switch is designed with a buffer memory and a switch controller, which allows two media types to operate smoothly. Additionally, this switch complies with IEEE 802.3z/AB standard. And comes with LED status indicators for power, speed, and link activity.
