Features of the Pick-a-Port Modular Switch

    • Scalability: Our Pick-a-Port modular switches offer immense scalability and flexibility. Owing to their modular design, you can easily pick your media and significantly reduce your hardware needs. It supports modules for:
      • 10/100/1000 copper
      • 100base fiber
      • 1000base SFP Fiber
Do you need a full fiber optic modular network switch? SG71090Aoffers 8, 16, and 24 port all-fiber solutions.

    • Highly Customizable: You can  mix and match various combinations of copper and fiber within the same chassis. For your added convenience, this product is also rack mountable.
    • Advanced Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Our modular network switch enables you to monitor the performance of your network and identify potential trouble BEFORE it happens.
    • Efficient Speed Setting: You can set the speeds for your ports as well as operational parameters. In addition to this, you can increase 10base inputs to 100base and 1000base over fiber for improved overall link speed.
    • Optimized Network Performance: The Pick-a Port modular switch helps you prevent undesirable loops, collisions, and slowdowns. This means optimum network performance will never be compromised.
    • Ensures Continuity and Consistency: Do you want to re-structure your office space? The VLAN feature on the "Pick a Port" will allow you to re-locate networking devices and still maintain continuity within the network itself.
    • Standards: Our managed modular Fiber and Ethernet Switches comply with IEEE 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3z, 802.1D, 802.1Q, 802.1w, 802.1x standards.
    • Supports Various User Interfaces: Equipped with in-band web-based management interface, these modular Ethernet switches support SNMP, Telnet, Web-based, and Console user interfaces.
    • SFP Compatible: The pick-a-port modular switch supports 100Base or 1000Base-SX/LX SFP technology.
    • Operating Environment: Pick-a-port switches are suited for environments with operating temperatures -5° C ~ 50° C. They can be stored at temperatures -25°C ~ 85°C at 10% ~ 90% non-condensing humidity.

In addition to this, the modular switch:
    • Supports port-based 802.1p QoS function
    • Supports port-based and 802.1Q Tag-based VLAN
