Compatible with other NICS and switches, you can count on the M7250 to deliver gigabit speeds over longer distances with transparent operation. In fact, your signals will travel 550m over multimode fiber and 40km over singlemode fiber. Other features include GBIC technology and auto-negotiation with link partners.
The 10/100 "Double Duty" media converter is still the most popular media converter in the VERSITRON line. Customers appreciate its flexibility. The "Double Duty" allows you to choose 3 network settings (10/100, 10base, 100base) plus gives you a choice of 4 rackmount chassis. (Regular Power, Managed Regular Power, Redundant Power, and Managed Redundant Power.) Lastly, it's distance capabilities are as much as 100km.
