The VERSITRON VersiVision Series multiplexers simultaneously transmit four channels of 8-bit digitally encoded broadcast quality video over one multimode or singlemode optical fiber.
The modules are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems and support RS-485, RS-422, and RS-232 data protocols. These muxes are typically used with cameras that have PTZ capability.
Plug and Play design ensures adjustment-free installation and operation. LED indicators are provided for instantly monitoring system status. |

A typical installation utilizes a 4-channel transmitter unit at the camera end of the link, connected via a single fiber optic cable, to a 4-channel receiver unit at the monitoring end of the link. Devices are available for either standalone or rackmount installation.
