The VERSITRON Model S71090A modular switch can provide 8, 16, or 24 ports of 100Base-FX fiber and 2 ports of gigabit fiber.
The front of the switch accepts up to three 8-port fiber optic modules:
- Use one module for 8 ports for fiber.
- Use two modules for 16 ports of fiber.
- Use three modules for 24 ports of fiber.

The modules are available for either multimode or singlemode fiber. Both types of fiber can be mixed within the same switch. ST and SC optical connectors are offered.
The rear of the switch accepts:
- Up to two single-port modules for gigabit fiber.
- Both multimode and singlemode modules are available.
- SC optical connectors are used.

The S71090 offers enhanced flexibility in planning your current fiber network and allows for future expansion. This switch is rack-mountable in a standard 19″ rack and operates on 110-240 VAC. As with all VERSITRON products, the S71090 carries a Lifetime Warranty.
