These products have been recently upgraded to the new 10/100 "Double-Duty" Media Converters.
This new product will effectively accommodate either 10base or 100base networks.
VERSITRON Model M7243 is a Fast Ethernet media converter which converts a 100Base-TX RJ45 port to 100Base-FX ST fiber optic connector. The Model M7243 can be operated in either half or full duplex mode between any two 100Base networking devices. It provides cabling flexibility and network distance flexibility. LANs can easily be extended to remote locations.
