These products have been upgraded to our 10/100 "Double-Duty" Media Converters and 10/100/1000 "Triple Duty" media converters.
The "Double-Duty" Media Converter will effectively accommodate either 10base or 100base networks,
AND has many more diagnosic features to monitor your data links. With the 10/100/1000 "Triple Duty" media converter, you can put in 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, or 1000Base-T copper signals and get 1000Base speeds on the fiber side. These products also support GBIC module technology.
These products convert an Fast Ethernet UTP electrical signal into light signals for transmission over fiber optic cable. They provide fully transparent operation and network distance flexibility.
