The VERSITRON VersiVision Series multiplexers simultaneously transmit four channels of 8-bit digitally encoded broadcast quality video, bi-directional data and forward audio over one multimode or singlemode optical fiber. The units are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems and support RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 data protocols. These units are typically used in applications where the cameras can transmit and receive data, and also send forward audio.

Plug and Play design ensures adjustment-free installation and operation. LED Indicators are provided to instantly monitor the system operating status. A typical installation utilizes a 4-channel transmitter unit at the camera end of the link, connected via a single fiber optic cable, to a 4-channel receiver unit at the monitoring end of the link. Devices are available for either standalone or rackmount installation.
